 Hi Everyone!!

It's been awhile since I've written an email, so I have so much to say!  I guess I'll start with our class schedule just posted.

Classes

If you take classes for fun or to learn techniques, our classes combine the best of both worlds! And I have to give my teachers a plug they deserve...they are the best designers out there!  Here are the classes available in March:

"Get your Gypsy On"

This is a brand new class designed for you to learn you gypsy.  We will have several classes for you to build your knowledge of the gypsy little by little.  It is truly an amazing machine that allows you to bring your cricut to a new level! 

The first class leads your through the basics.  Paula will teach you how to turn it on all the way to welding a word!  Along the way you'll learn how to manipulate the different screens, load cartridges, search and save designs.

If you want to cut something you can bring your cricut machine, your mat and several sheets of cardstock.  In order to do this step, you'll have to sync your gypsy with your Cricut.  This can take up to an hour, so cannot be done during the class.  Just plug your gypsy into the back of your Cricut, and follow the on screen instructions on your gypsy.  It's pretty easy to do.

Cricut Basic's Class
Cost:  $5 for members
$10 for non members
Class is only 1 hour long

You've been asking and here it is....Have you taken your Cricut out of the box?  Have you put the Cricut aside because you feel overwhelmed?  Come to our first Cricut Basic class!  You won't be completing a layout...you'll just be learning your Cricut.  You will learn all the basics, tips, techniques and a basic understanding of how easy the Cricut can be to use!  This class is just for beginners... you'll learn how to read your book, use all your keys and dials, and I'll give you some great websites to make your Cricut your favorite new scrapbooking toy!

Connie's Metal Art Class

This class has amazed people!  It is a techinque Connie picked up off the internet, and added her own touch of fleur de lis's and clusters....

Yes, it is real metal.  Yes, you get all the products on the layout.....all for $25!  (At Scrapfest the Class is $30 because of the class fee we have to pay per person)

The classes at the store are full, but we are taking a waiting list for cancellations.  We will also be offering another class in May, but don't have the dates down yet.  If you get on the waiting list and don't make it into one of the classes, you'll have first option to get into the May classes.

March Calendar Class - Blooming Cute!

Cost:  $20

This month we are celebrating the arrival of warm weather and spring!!!  Wendy has created a layout that is "blooming" cute!!  We'll be playing with Tattered Angels Chip tiles and the new Spray Mists colors!!!  Wendy is going to teach a new Stickle technique and how to layer paper and fabric to create cute flowers!!  The paper that we are using is the new "Berrylicious" from Imaginisce.  From kite flying to seed planting...this layout is so cute!!  Here' a sneak peek! 

Membership News

March Coupon - Come and Crop!

The Coupon for March is this cute Mardi Gras Tag Kit!!  It's an incentive for you to come crop!!!  If you come and crop at least 2 hours in our crop room, you get this cute Mardi Gras Tag Kit thrown to you!  Come experience our crop room and our Cricut Cartridge selection!  If you live out of town, make plans with your friends and come down for the day!!!   If your coming down for a class, make plans and stay later and crop (at least 2 hours) Or come down and crop on one of our crop nights!  This month we are cropping until midnight on Friday March 18th & Friday March 25th.  We are also are doing recipe swaps and a free recipe page "Make and Take" on both of those nights!!!

New Products

Ok...We received lots of new products in this past week...and were receiving alot this coming week.  We are going to Scrapfest on March 9th, and were closed on the 8th for Mardi Gras.  Most of all our stuff will be packed up by then.  If you want any of these collections, I would head to the store this week!  Here are all our goodies!!!

If you love Vintage, or even if you don't like Vintage...these new stickers and cut outs are to die for!!  They are soooo cute and can be used in a variety of fun ways!

Time for Cutsie...and this is really a cute line!!  Animal Crackers from Imaganisce is also a cute "boy" line!  I not only got the papers, but the cute embellishments too!!  I can't wait to see the layouts created with this....

Another fun line from Imaganisce is Berrylicious!  From Lemonade Stands, to Spring, this is a fun paper line!  "It's also the paper line Wendy's using for her March Calendar class!

Here it is...the beauty of Gabrielle by Bobunny...arriving this week (Probably around Thursday)!!!  It's one of the most beautiful lines released at CHA, and I'm sure it will fly off the shelves really fast!

Restock of Graphic 45:  Curtain Call and Once Upon a Springtime

I have ordered Once Upon a Springtime 3 times already!  Beatriz comes into town and creates a layout with it and I have to reorder the whole line again!  Both lines will be in stock this week.
